bunion surgery question?

hi im 14, i may have to have bunion surgery, but am just wondering wether they will sort my Tailors bunion out at the same time, because its almost just as painful?
oh and what happens during and after surgery?

It is certainly possible to take care of both the bunion and the Tailor’s bunion at the same time. You might ask your doctor whether there are any plans to do so. As for the procedure itself, the purpose of surgery is not only to remove the bunion but also to realign the bones and balance the muscles to prevent recurrence. After the procedure it typically takes eight weeks for the bones and soft tissues to heal. You may be placed in a wooden-soled shoe or a cast to protect the bones while they heal. And you will probably need crutches briefly after surgery.

Good luck.
